When choosing a microscope, your goal is to get the right microscopic tool for the right application. Since microscopes are used in a variety of fields, it means that there are many types of microscopes and microscope accessories. As for industrial microscopes, they are used primarily in assembly work or quality control. From its name you can guess that they are used to inspect materials and finished products. Most often stereo microscopes with special stands, illumination systems and digital imaging systems are used for industrial applications. The more common industrial microscopes are: measuring microscopes, metallurgical microscopes, shop microscopes, and geological microscopes.
