Sorry for not writing sooner, but things have certainly been busy here at microscopes.com. As I told you last time, we have been testing all the new laboratory and scientific items on another website and already have over two dozen orders!!! Our go live date will be around Oct. 4. At that point, all the pipettes, beakers, test tubes, slides, washers, baths, syringes, filters, and thousands of other lab products that you have been waiting for will be added to this site. In terms of categories, as I expected, we are doing very well with slides and cover slips. Some of you have even purchased a new microscope to go with all the microscopy accessories. Stay Tuned! About 12,000 new items for your laboratory, scientific, medical, and industrial needs. will be added within 2 weeks.

We have a lot more in store for you, but I was forced to limit the selection of products on the home page to the most popular categories. The products will be added later this week. To pH or Not to pH? That is the Question
Happy Friday to all! I'm happy to report that yesterday we added the first batch of 3000 new laboratory items. They are currently unorderable because we have yet to finalize the pricing on them. To all the professional and amateur scientists out there - you will not have a one stop shop, if you will, for all your research, safety, and clinical instrumentation and consumable needs. Today I wanted to briefly comment on our section of electrochemistry; pH meters and other such equipment. We will also have a complete section on replaceable pH electrodes and probes. Electrochemistry Standards and solutions for all our meters will also be offered in many differing volume amounts. You will be able to purhase small samples of standard buffer as well as larger quart sized amounts as well. We will carry all the new meters from Orion, VWR, Metter Toledo, Sartorius, Beckman Coulter, IQ Scientific, Jenco, and many others. When working with pH, your determined levels of acid and base are frequently very important to all your scientific experiments. Purchase everything you need at microscopes.com and don't forget that you get free shipping with all your orders!

What To Do With So Many Beakers and Flasks
When one thinks of science and research, a picture usually pops into one's mind. This may be a picture you saw in a an old science fiction movie about a mad professor working in the laboratory. You probably see lots of flasks and beakers with solutions and chemicals bubbling away. Test tubes holding samples of you-don't-want-to-know-what, and bottles and jars with research samples like eye of newt resting, cobwebbed on the shelf. No? That's now what you're thinking? I've worked around scientists at least half my life, and that's still what comes to my mind! This little preamble was to introduce a very popular category to microscopes.com - beakers, test tubes, flasks, and accessories. In addition to the obvious products in this category, we will also have vials, cylinders, dishes, bottles and jars, and other laboratory glassware and plasticware. Some of the new brands being added currently will be Kimble, VWR, Griffin, I-CHEM, Nalgene, EP Scientific, Qorpak, Wheaton, BrandTech, and many, many others. I know all of you can't wait, but please be a little more patient. We should be up and running by September 15!
